Bike Computer Reviews

Are you looking for a bike computer review? Bike computers are a great tool for tracking your bike's speed, distance, average speed and high speed. Other features found on many bike computers include current speed; average speed, maximum speed; split time, water resistance, GPS, wireless connection to tire sensor, trip distance, temperature, clock, heart rate monitor, cadence, elapsed time, auto start/stop, an automatic power-saving mode, bike pace arrows and total pedal revolution. Most bike computers are waterproof to rain, snow, splashing and almost anything excpet total immersion. I have driven my bike computer through one hurricane (yes, hurricane) and many, many downpours without fail.

Planet Bike Protege 9.0

Bike Computer Reviews

I have used MANY bike computers and this is my favorite. Yes, I am biased. Yes, we will get a comission if you buy anything on this website. And no I don't claim to offer an unbiased double blind study of every bike computer out there. Most of them work very well. The one above works GREAT for me. Your results may vary. Here's why I like it.

Planet Bike Protege 9.0 Highlights

  • It's very easy to read while pedaling. Prevents riding off the trail while reading the display. Always a plus.
  • Lots of information at a glance. This includes current speed, current speed comparison to average speed, ride time, trip distance, dual odometer (for two wheel sizes), average speed, maximum speed, clock, and temperature
  • Not too complicated. I don't use heart rate monitors or other tech stuff. Expensive computers sometimes have too much techno for me. I just want to ride not split the atom.
  • Lots of features included at a great price.
  • Easy to install and program.
  • Lifetime warranty. Not offered with many other bike computers.

Ok, enough Internet for you! Get on the bike and get riding!
